4 years of memorable journey in college

Hello guys, This is sooryaa khiran currently doing my final year in Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering which is almost came to end. There are lots of things to be cherished during these 4 years of life. Here I am going to tell the important moments during these years.
Beginning of This journey:
July 29,2016, On this day, this beautiful journey has been started. On the first day, it was just the speeches given by higher officials. For the first three days. It was a fun-filled enjoyment. the event was called “AGARAM”.There was a lot of interaction with seniors and staffs of various departments. Then our regular class was started.
First-year An Amateur Period:
Our Lecture Hall was B-307 For the whole first year. There were a lot of events happened in this place. Some funny, some serious incidents have occurred there. It’s the time I joined a club called “Youth Parliament”(An Literary club functioning inside our college running by our students)Where I got some friends and learned a lot of life lessons there. I started to participate in events like Speechkraft, Parivarthan etc.., In this time I witnessed the first Technical Symposium “Uddeshah”. It was a very enjoyable one with a lot of things Exhibited. those Electrical, Mechanical labs were so enjoyable especially the staffs there. The LLC labs in which we listen to those techy videos and make a note of it. Then my first internal exams were coming. It was a bit fearful one where I started to study a week before(I don’t believe now that I studied like that). There will be a total of 3 Internal Exams will come for each semester. Then, My first Practical Exams occurred which was Engineering Practices laboratory where I felt so nervous whether I get an easy experiment, then My first End-Semester Exam occurred. It was a different one from the 12th public exam where we prepare for only two days for the exam. Then I got a holiday of about 4 days only.
Next Second Semester was started, It was a fast-moving one because we were in a hurry of completing the syllabus. Then We protested for jallikattu issue which was an unforgettable experience where we have gone for a rally form college to the mahalingapuram Arch. Then we witnessed “Kleos” An Inter-college Cultural Event. It was a good one to witness forgetting our studies for a while. Then, We also Particicapted in an intra-college Symposium called “Varnam” which was fun to participate in it. Then the Youth Parliament Weekly sessions were conducted which was a beautiful one. The first year came to an end with some memories. During the Vacation, I had an opportunity to work as an intern at NFN Labs, Chennai for two weeks.
Second Year- Where Friends become a family:
Second-year was gone with the lecture hall A-404 where there were lots of fun moments to be cherished. In this time we have entered to our department. Until We were under First-year Department. We were started to study our core subjects. We were started to organize events for our juniors and for also for our seniors. I started to volunteer for events like Uddeshah. We the whole boys had gone for the movie “Meesaya Muruku ”for the first time. The labs in these days were the one where we have done the experiments properly. There were many birthday celebrations happened during this period where we cut the cakes and attack the birthday boy with eggs, red chillies, turmeric powder etc. Then we the youth Parliament members were gone for lunch in Coimbatore which was a different experience. Then the campus day came where we were asked to come with a white dress and the girls with saree which was so horrible to watch it(Just for fun ). Then I and my friends went to Bannari Amman Institute of Technology for attending the symposium for the first time outside the college. It was a good experience.
The fourth Semester is the one which we enjoyed a lot because it has lots of trips in it. Those dances and fun activities are the ones which we couldn’t forget. First, we went to BSNL office in Coimbatore which was a simple one which we didn’t enjoy a lot, After that, we went to Doordharsan Office in Thrissur which was the unforgettable one which we enjoyed to the core. During this period There was a two-decade celebration were happened in that we exhibited various projects from various departments where I explained the evolution of apple computers. It was a good experience. Then, we the members of Youth Parliament went to institute of road and transport technology Erode for Literary event which we won the overall Championship.
It was an unforgettable memory. Then we conducted Dhruya An Inter college literary event conducted by Youth Parliament. Various students from our college and form other colleges have participated. It was a good event Then the semester was done with the usual internals and semester exams. There was a very long vacation of about one month which was the longest in this college life which I enjoyed to the core.
Third Year-An fear mixed fun :
The third-year was filled with some fear and some enjoyment. The whole year was gone in the lecture hall A-402 which has more fun filling elements in it. In Fifth Semester, We have gone Industrial Visit to BPL Palakkad which was the last one which we have gone as a whole class. It was an enjoyable one with dance and visiting places. Then We the Youth Parliament members have gone for a one day trip at Malampuzha dam which was a different one from usual trips. Then we went to Government College of Technology, Coimbatore for Brainstorm(An inter-college literary event) which was a unique experience there. For that, we have taken the train from Pollachi to Coimbatore which was very enjoyable. During this year, we have started getting feared of getting placed in a company for that we started preparing for it. There were Aptitude training and technical training was undergone side by side.
The Sixth semester was full of small and long trips. we the whole boys had gone for a trip to Wayanad which was unforgettable one which I have written a blog about it which you can check here. Blog Then, We the Youth Parliament members have gone to Valparai for a one day trip which was so enjoyable especially the night stay. Then we a small group of friends have gone to various places like Aliyar Dam, Coimbatore etc. Then the semester was over we had a small span of the holiday.
Final Year -Full of Emotions:
The Final year is so emotional because there were lots and lots of things happened. I got placed in a company called VVDN Technologies. It was a different experience where the process was gone for a whole day. I became the Vice -president for ISTE(Indian Society for Technical Education) where I got a group of friends and later become a family. Then we have Project viva which was a good experience especially the preparation for it was a hilarious one. Then finally the day came the photoshoot day in which we took a formal group photo in coat-suite for boys and saree for girls. We took lots and lots of photos with our friends and with our staffs. Then we have attended our last internal,end-semester and practical exams. It was an emotional one.
There is an eight-semester there but it will be for only for project viva only. We will have to go for an internship.
Conclusion:
So here are the wonderful memories of my college life. College life is the one which you don’t get throughout life. It’s a very short period in your life which you shouldn’t miss forever. So enjoy life as much as possible
